Moving an air conditioner to another room or flat — Tbilisi
Relocation is two jobs in one: removal at the old place and installation at the new one. If the refrigerant was pumped down into the outdoor unit properly, the unit works at the new place as before.
Urgent, evening or weekend visits may be available by prior agreement.

When it is worth it
Moving a working unit is almost always cheaper than buying a new one. If it is very old, breaks often or runs on the old R22 refrigerant, the technician may suggest a new unit — the choice is yours.
What is included
- pumping the refrigerant into the outdoor unit and removal;
- mounting the units at the new place and connecting a new or the old line;
- vacuuming, a top-up if needed and a test run.
What to prepare
- photos of the old and the new place;
- the distance between the new indoor and outdoor unit;
- whether it is the same flat or another address — then transport of the units is agreed too.
Frequently asked questions
How much does relocation cost?
Open sources give no single price: it is removal plus installation. As a guide — removal 180–200 ₾, standard installation from 220 ₾; a new line and refrigerant extra. The technician gives the exact price from photos.
Can the old line be reused?
Sometimes — if the pipes are intact and long enough. A new line is often more reliable at the new place; the technician decides on site.
