What the installation includes
- removing the old enclosure or bath (if needed);
- levelling the tray and connecting the trap to the drain;
- assembling the glass and doors and adjusting the doors;

- sealing the joints and testing with water.
What to prepare in advance
The enclosure size must match the space, and the tray trap must line up with the drain outlet. Send the plumber the enclosure model and a photo of the spot showing the drain and water pipes. An enclosure with hydromassage or electronics needs an earthed socket.
If the old enclosure leaks
The usual culprits are an old silicone joint, the trap seal or the door seals. This can often be fixed without replacing the enclosure: the plumber removes the old silicone, reseals the joints or replaces the trap.
