Signs that the pump is the problem

- you hear humming during draining but the water does not go;

First — the filter
In front of the pump, in the lower front corner of the machine, there is a filter. Coins, buttons, hair and threads get stuck in it. A clogged filter causes the same symptoms as a broken pump.
You can clean the filter yourself: unplug the machine, lay a towel down and place a shallow container — the water left in the drum will come out through the filter. Unscrew the filter slowly, clean it and screw it back tightly. If the water is hot, let it cool first.

The technician checks the filter, the pump impeller, the drain hose and the sewer connection, measures the pump winding and checks whether the control module sends it a signal.
