Heating pipe installation and replacement in Tbilisi
Heating pipes are replaced when old metal pipes rust and leak, or when a renovation moves the radiators. The technician agrees with you where and how the new line runs — in the wall, in the floor or exposed — and which pipe suits best.
We usually reply within 3–5 minutes during response hours.

When pipes need replacing
- old steel pipes show rust and damp patches;
- the system keeps losing pressure and the leak is on a pipe;
- a renovation moves the radiators to new places;
- the flat is switching from shared central heating to its own boiler;
- you need a heating point in a new room or on a balcony.
Which pipe
Apartments now mostly use multilayer (metal-plastic) and polypropylene pipes. Multilayer pipe bends and runs easily through walls and floors; polypropylene is welded into one solid line. Copper costs more and is less common.
The technician recommends a material based on the system type, the layout and whether the pipes are replaced before a renovation or in a finished interior.
How the work goes
First the technician inspects the flat and plans the line: where the radiators go, where the pipe comes from the boiler and where the valves will be. Then the system is drained, old sections are removed and new ones fitted.
Before the wall or floor is closed, the line is pressure-tested so that a hidden leak does not show up later. The system is then refilled, the air is let out and the pressure restored.
What the price depends on
Technicians often charge per "point" (the line to one radiator) or per metre of pipe, and the figures vary widely. That is why we do not publish a single price here.
The price depends on the number of points, the pipe type, the length of the line and whether walls or floors have to be opened. The technician gives the exact price after an inspection.
Frequently asked questions
Can just one section be replaced?
Yes, if the rest of the line is in good shape. The technician will judge whether replacing one section makes sense or the old pipes will soon leak elsewhere too.
Do the walls have to be opened?
Not always. The pipe can run exposed along the skirting. If the line goes inside a wall or floor, it is best done before a renovation.
How long will I be without heating?
It depends on the scope. During the inspection the technician tells you how long the system will be off.
