What the technician needs to know first
In your first message, mention:
- flat or house, the area and number of rooms;
- whether there is gas and where the boiler could go;
- whether a renovation is under way — pipes hidden in walls or a finished interior;
- radiators, underfloor heating or both;
- whether the boiler should also give hot water (combi boiler).
How the system is planned
The technician works out the boiler output and the radiator size for each room, taking into account the area, windows, walls and floor level, and decides how the pipes run and where the valves go.
Flats most often have a wall-mounted gas combi boiler that both heats and provides hot water. The gas connection is made only by a specialist who is authorised to work with gas.
Installation stages
- running pipes from the boiler to the radiators;
- fixing radiators with valves and air vents;
- hanging the boiler and connecting water and the flue;
- pressure-testing, filling and bleeding the system;
- first start-up and a check that the radiators heat evenly.

According to open sources, a 50–80 m² flat with a boiler, radiators, pipes and installation usually totals 2,500–5,000 ₾. The price varies a lot with the boiler brand, materials and number of points; the technician prepares an exact estimate after an inspection.
Is it better to install before a renovation?
Yes. If the pipes go inside walls or floors, the system is fitted at the rough-finish stage and pressure-tested before the surfaces are closed.
Who buys the materials, me or the technician?
Either way works. The technician gives you a list or chooses them, so agree on this in advance.
